TECHNIQUE: FOOTLOCK

APPLICATION: Wrap your arm around opponent’s ankle, grab your forearm with the wrapping hand and use other hand to grab their shin, squeeze tight and arch back (twist to the outside for extra rippage).

NOTE: DON’T STOP TILL IT POPS

DIAGNOSIS: Hyper inversion, multi-tendonous rupture with associated traumatic fracture (find a good podiatrist).

RECOVERY TIME: Conservatively, 6-8 weeks.

PREVENTATIVE MEASURES: Watch your step.
